GNAF

The Great Northern Arts Festival is the only pan-northern arts festival in Canada and has been uniting art makers with art lovers since 1989. Make GNAF part of your summer plans!

July 14 to 23, 2017

At this festival, visitors are encouraged to get involved and participate. GNAF has a range of workshops open to the public, so try your hand at the local beading styles or carve your own inuksuk out of soapstone.

Save some energy for the evenings, as a jam-packed schedule sees well-known performing artists take the stage. And don't forget the penultimate event of the festival - the Great Northern Fashion Show!

The Great Northern Arts Festival is proud to have been recognized as the following:

  • Top 25 Festivals in North America

               - Rand McNally Maps

  • Top 50 Summertime Events in Canada
